Dynamic Systems, Inc. supplies slipcovers, fabrics by the yard or roll, waterproof coatings, spray adhesives, and foam-in-place accessories for fabric covering and waterproofing custom-molded cushions.

Waterproof Fabrics

 
Dartex™

Dartex™ is a 4-way stretch, weft-knit fabric with a waterproof polyurethane transfer coating. Protected against microfungi and bacteria. May be machine washed or dry cleaned. Available in black, matte finish. Sold by the yard or as a slipcover. Technical Specifications.
Stretch 4

Stretch 4 is a waterproof polyurethane film laminated to 100% polyester knit fabric with 4-way stretch. Protected against microfungi and bacteria. Washable. Available in black, matte finish. Sold by the yard or as a slipcover. Technical Specifications.
Dureflex™

Dureflex™ polyurethane film is a laminate material which provides a clear, flexible, moisture barrier for SunMate cushions and FIPS inserts while improving durability. 1.5-mil Dureflex™ sold by the yard.

Stretch Knit Fabric

Stretch Knit fabric may be ordered by the yard for covering FIPS inserts. This fabric is a cotton/synthetic blend and is flexible enough to stretch into deep contours. This material is easily waterproofed with a silicone coating. Available in Black only.

Velour Slipcovers

Velour slipcovers for SunMate and Pudgee cushionsA velour slipcover is soft, attractive, and will give your cushion a longer life. Available to fit standard SunMate®, Pudgee®, and Laminar™ cushion sizes. Removable. Washable. Stretch cotton/synthetic blend. Available in a variety of colors. Also sold by the yard.

Waterproof Coating

Clear silicone waterproof coating for SunMate, Pudgee, Laminar, and Liquid SunMate FIPS inserts for wheelchair cushionsDynamic Systems, Inc. uses a clear waterproof sealant on SunMate®, Pudgee®, Laminar™ and FIPS custom-molded cushions. The elastic coating is washable, certified safe for skin contact, and has a high tear strength. This strong, stretchy coating will rebound to its original state does not detract from the cushion's compression or support properties.

Cushions may be ordered with this pre-applied silicone coating. A DIY waterproofing kit with Dow 732 RTV silicone is also available for purchase.
