Silicone Waterproof & FR Waterproof Coatings

The silicone waterproofing may be combined with a fire-retardant (FR) powder additive to provide a nontoxic, fire-retardant coating. Tests done by Dynamic Systems, Inc. have shown that the silicone fire-retardant (SIL-FR) coating meets or exceeds fire-retardant codes. |

Waterproofing Items
- • The Dow Corning™ 732 RTV and GE™ Silicone II has been tested and used by Dynamic Systems, Inc. as a waterproof sealant for many years.
- • The silicone provides an elastic waterproof coating for SunMate and FIPS cushions which is washable, safe for skin contact and unaffected by bodily fluids.
- • Does not interfere with the normal stretching and compression properties of the cushion.
- • It normally takes 4-5 tubes of silicone to waterproof a total FIPS insert with 2 coats.
